Season’s Greetings,
2024 has been quite a full year. After a bout of Covid and unprecedented cyber-attack on Lurie Children’s Hospital; Alia finally had her heart repair surgery in February. It was a resounding success and she has been thriving since.
With that giant hurdle behind us, Alia had a wonderful year full of firsts; including first words (Fishy!), steps, falls, boat rides, plane rides, and of course a first birthday and baby naming ceremony. We’re still working on Alia’s fear of cake.
Mom and Dad even found time to go on a few dates! Including a chance to see our favorite film composer, Hans Zimmer, in concert.
We hope your year was as filled with as much love and joy as ours was!
