Herbology Illustrations

Opening dispensaries in a new state is always a challenge. So we decided to help build excitement on social media by doing something a little different. Inspired by travel posters and postcards we took over the Herbology Instagram grid with a big, 9-panel, illustration that featured state-specific landmarks and local favs.

I executed three of these large illustrations as we opened up shop in North Dakota, Michigan and Oklahoma. Each one started with research, discussions with our local staff on what they would like to see included, and pencil sketches. When the subject matter and composition was agreed on I used Adobe Illustrator to make the final artwork.
